How can i find the perfect makeup?

I'd suggest going to shoppers drug mart..

Their make up counter is very good, so talk to them there. How can i find the perfect makeup?
It takes alot of trial and error to see what works well and what you like. I would suggest going to the department store and try everything. But It is a process. It may take a couple of tries at different counters to see what you like to use everyday. How can i find the perfect makeup?
There are lots of websites that can help and lots of them have those virtual things you can add your picture too and try it on... Some like covergirl.com have phone lines you can call and talk to a makeup advisor.... Check out as many as you can and read the sudgestions for your hair, eye and skin colour... That will give you and idea of what shades are best for you.. then try some on. ^_^ practice makes perfect!
talk to a make up artist in a department store
go to a dept store, Macey, Dillard's, depends on where you live. Find one of the cosmetic depts, that has the lowest gift you have to buy, in order to get a free make-up, make over. My sister and I just did this, we went to Dillard's, we had to buy $20. worth of makeup, (at the Elizabeth Arden counter) the girl spent an hour and half, trying on all different colors %26amp; shades, blushes, eye shadows. She sugested what type of make up for oily skin, dry skin, the works. Now mind you, I was in Fla, and we had a wonderful girl, an i wish you all the luck in getting someone as great as we had. Im sure not all girls will be as great as she was. But this was a lot of fun, and we looked great when we left. We did end up spending more than the $20. but we did get good make-up, and people do notice the change in me. I look younger, i look healther, an my skin is much better. Best of luck to you!
If i were u id go to a makeup store in the mall or in a store and have it professionaly done and then u can see yur self and see if u like that or not.
To find the perfect makeup for you, you need to know about your complexion. Are you tan? Pale? In the middle? This will help decide what kind of foundation. (An expert stylist will help you with all of this. Go to your local Chanel or any other makeup store and tell them your problem)

Eyeliner color all depends on the color of your eyes. For instance, if you have a light blue/gray color then you should use a soft black. I have gray eyes, and use soft black eyeliner. It looks amazing and makes my eyes stand out even more.

Mascara color doesn't really matter. It's all what you would like. You could get a brown, a brown-black, or a black. Whatever you choose will look fine with any eye color.

Eyeshadow goes the same for the eyeliner... it all depends on your eye color.

Blush has to deal with your complexion also. Ask the stylist about this.

I hope I helped and Happy New Year!

Why dont you go to a dept store and have a chat with the make up counters. they will also show you how to apply your make up (while trying to sell to you) but you can get some good tips.
Good question which I have asked myself, too... especially with foundation.

SO many stores do not even have a mirror so you can't hold up the bottle to your face at least. Even then, I have ended up with at least a dozen bottles of foundation... each a different color, you get them home and it's not the right one....

I think I'm ready to go to a department store and spend big $$$$ on getting a foundation specially mixed to match. Then at least I'd have that bottle to take with at the cheaper stores to match.

I think us women always end up trying dozens of brands and types of makeup til you find just the right one.
